On Initiation
Ambiguity and Burned Fingers
A general note for everyone. I am quite deliberate with the instructions in my Guide. I would like to stress that you are entirely free to make choices and decisions by yourself that suit your particular situation. You are especially free to make decisions by yourselves when you encounter something ambiguous. In many cases I have been deliberately vague, and l intend to continue adding some level of ambiguity to each task so that you can develop your own sense and your own insight in the practice of sorcery. Initiation is won through experience and thinking on one’s feet. I encourage you all to simply get stuck in, mess around and get your fingers burned 🙂
I will always answer your questions and I will always give you the best advice and guidance I am able, but as neokoros, the temple-sweep, I am only ever going to be able to clear the way for you to approach the altar. You have to do the Work.
What’s more, if I overly explain everything there’ll be no room for your individual and unique experience to flourish. Sorcery usually occurs in those strange spaces between the lines and under the ink, and I do not wish to rob you of this for the sake of absolute precision.
